Leather In The Summer, Silk In the Winter

No, it's not summer anymore, but I just love the way Andre 3000 says that. I'm currently obsessing over leather shorts. It's a neat way to keep from being bundled up during the winter, but still look stylish. In a crowd full of American Apparel dresses with 5 inch pumps, you'll be sure to stand out with these.

And She Aint Eva Eva Eva Gotta Take 'Em Back....

The Louis Vuitton Neverfull is the ultimate bag for the city girl who just wants to grab and go. Not a fan of this colorway, but the bag is a must.

This summer should be interesting. What better way to start it off than with some nice threads.I own a pair of these shorts and i must say, you can wear them with just about anything.

I'm a sucker for a wedge shoe or a lace bootie so when i saw this cork wedge bootie, I almost died. I can't wait for my vacation in Dominican Republic. It's on.

Studded Accent

Small details make the biggest statement. For this season i am enjoying the studded details on shoes. I am also loving wedge and clog style shoes. If you want an earthy, rugged, and hard pop to your style you can do so by wearing these kind of heels. Paired with flared jeans and flowing tops, the look is feminine and edgy.

I'm currently obsessing over denim! Adding to that is this pretty neat overall piece from Free People which is perfect for an occasion like a day walking in the city. Scratch the saddle shoes, pair with tan or black sandals, add some accessories and create a relaxed boho chic look on super clean white. Can't wait for spring!

Nothing On My Back But The Delicates Of Fabrics

A lightweight jacket is essential for the spring! Not only because you will want to enjoy the weather, but because you can layer a hooded sweater or thermal shirt underneath without feeling bulky if it gets brisk. I enjoy the simple aesthetics of the quilted jackets and vest pictured here. The middle picture is definitely my favorite, It's a quilted gilet vest from J. Crew that is $195.

Urban Outfitters varsity jacket.

Free People lace v-neck and cargo pants.

Asos lace up boots.

Even though clothing stores are already displaying the newest fashions for spring, it is never too late to purchase a few things for the remainder of the cold season. I saw these pieces and thought they could be worn in the winter and in the spring time when it gets a little cooler.
The jacket is not too heavy or light and the boots are in style and could be worn by women if you can find the right ones. The lace top just delivers a feminine flare to a rather rugged look but any regular shirt will do. Most of these posts reflect my personal style so like i always say, "it's just my opinion."

A couple of things have been catching my eye lately as well:

-versatile watches
-premium denim
-black leather jackets

Watch Me Take Flight

Life breeds fashion! The picture above is of "the first lady of the air" otherwise known as Amelia Earhart. A movie about her, Amelia, will be in theaters soon.
