'08-the year of the gentlemen...i think not! Will 2009 be the same? Writing this post I can only think about my experience this past weekend. What an awful time I had at a party or lounge, whatever you want to call it. The club scene is so impersonal and def not part of my groove. It depends though, i know there are some lounges and places where the people are cool, the drinks are smooth, the atmosphere is right, and you can juss vibe out to some cool tunez...daz wat i'm looking for. And truthfully, i'm looking for that dude to vibe out with [All i'm looking for is a partner to play spades with the cards up alll trust].Can't say i'm on a hunt or deep search for, but c'mon fellas lets step it up a lil. ok mayb a lot! all that 'yo shorty', grabbing legs, and pullin on hair has got to stop. This has to be my favorite outfit for Obama to wear on inauguration day. Designers everywhere have been submitting there sketches to the Obama's as well as displaying their sketches on the internet. It would be so smooth to see Obama rock this SEAN JOHN ensemble...what a handsome man!

I Like Her Style!

Part of two of today's post has to do with style...I just checked out some popular blogs and was blown away by this chick. I can't say i am a fan of rihanna's music, but lately i've been digging her style. This here is sooooo me lol...anyways, whoever is rihanna's stylist is 'puttin there foot into' some of these outfits! seriously, oh gurl has been going hard on the fashion scene and i couldn't appreciate this outfit any more. It so classy, well cut, with a little edge just how i like it :-)...what do you think?

Questions

How do you define someone who is fly, fresh, fashionable, or whatever?

Do we as people think that clothes are everything? what do clothes really have to say about the individual? Me personally, i never look for someone to acknowledge me as being fly, fresh, or fashionable. I think for me, getting dressed in the morning is like making my own little painting-its art. Don't let anybody tell you what you should do, wear, or say and wear that confidence as your statement! I think im more inspired by people who make something out of nothing, rather than those who have it ($) and just want to show it off. Anyways, who am i to say whether someone is hot or not, i mean everyone has there oWn opinion..so with that being said ITS YOUR CHOICE, DO WHAT YOU WANT TO DO, AND WEAR WHAT YOU WANT TO WEAR PEOPLE, ITS YOUR LIFE!

So word around town(bbcicecream.com/blog) is that PHARRELL will be gracing the cover of the next Nylon Magazine issue. For those who don't know, I am a fan of both. Pharrell to me is so talented and of course he is my type ;-) LOL....Nylon features some of the coolest fashion and music in my personal opinion. I'm kind of tight though! This month is suppose to be my last issue of Nylon until i subscribe for another year. Why? Why does this have to happen to me when my boyfriend-in-my-head is on the cover?Either way, whether i subscribe or not, im going to cop!

Weekend Love

I had to do another post today. I'm uber excited about my photoshoot with NAKEYA B. in NY this weekend. Here are some pics:

Even though this picture is low-quality, it features my adorable niece YOUNG B.!Today I thought I'd talked about my three-finger ring. The first time I heard about Melody Ehsani I was browsing some popular blogs and saw some dope accessories that celebrities were wearing, and had to know who made them. Kelis, Cassie, Keri Hilson, Rihanna, have all been spotted wearing Melody Ehsani. So me being Rosie B., I always recognize something dope, and if i like it i'm going to get it! ;-) I was really excited about getting my name on a three-finger ring, just something I always wanted to do. After visiting her website a couple times, i finally made my purchase. I waited a week....no ring. Two weeks...no ring...three weeks..no ring...i e-mailed her(she was cool and all)...still no ring...well, after about 5 weeks of waiting i finally received my ring, in a box the size of a pack of newports...i have to stay after i opened it, i was extremely disappointed by the quality and the overall execution of the ring. I felt like i could of did this myself, or go downtown Newark at the pizza shop/engraving spot and get this done. Overall, I don't know if it was a bad time for her, but I wouldn't purchase anything from her site again...i could have kept my $50+.......

Coldest Winter

I actually decided to blog today! YAY! lol

So lets see...ummm...im sitting in the library right now attempting to do some work on the computer...YEA RIGHT...who am i fooling!
I had the best time with Nakeya, Ava, and Nicole on Saturday. It's always great to link up with people who are warm, positive, and driven :-)

Other than that, I'm trying not stress about finals as much..or stress about anything for that matter.
